The Engineering Physics Program

Engineering Major / Physics Minor Option

The third of the Engineering Physics options is a regular engineering degree, with additional courses to make up the physics minor. The engineering programs are ABET accredited. Enrollment for the Engineering Major / Physics Minor Option is through CEAT.

Mechanical Engineering with Physics Minor

124 hours of Mech. Eng., including PHYS 2014, 2114 and 3313, plus 9 hours from PHYS 3013, 3113, 3213, 3322, 3513, 3622, 3713, 4113, 4263, 4413, 4423, 5163. [133 hours total]

Electrical Engineering with Physics Minor

136 hours of Elect. Eng., including PHYS 2014, 2114 and 3113, plus 9 hours from PHYS 3013, 3213, 3322, 3313, 3513, 3622, 3713, 4113, 4263, 4413, 4423, 5163. [145 hours total]

Civil Engineering with Physics Minor

136 hours of Civil Eng., including PHYS 2014, 2114 and 3013, plus 9 hours from PHYS 3113, 3213, 3313, 3322, 3513, 3622, 3713, 4113, 4263, 4413, 4423, 5163. [145 hours total]
